This year in science has been a roller coaster of surprises, challenges, and moments where things finally “clicked.” I came into the year not really knowing what to expect, and I definitely didn’t think I’d end up enjoying it as much as I did!The biggest shock to my system was when I realised that science relies on proof, not just beliefs. I used to think astrology was real, and I was so confident in it that I even raised my hand in class to defend it! But then I learned that everything needs to be based on scientific evidence, and that was a total game-changer for me. It made me realise that I need to question things and look for the facts before jumping to conclusions. One of the most challenging topics for me was the Nature of Matter. I understood some of the basic concepts, but I struggled with some of the more complex ideas. I remember going home and trying to answer the questions in the textbook, but I just couldn’t wrap my head around them. I even had a test on it, and I didn’t do very well.
I didn’t give up, though! I kept studying and asking questions, and eventually, some ofthe concepts started to make sense. It was still a little confusing, especially when it came to certain details, but I felt proud of myself for pushing through and not giving up. Learning about space really changed the way I see the world. I learned so many amazing facts, like how over one million Earths could fit inside the Sun! That just blew my mind! It made me realise how vast and incredible the universe is, and it made me want to learn even more.I also learned about my environment and how different things can matter to different people. This made me more aware of the impact that humans have on the planet, and it inspired me to make more sustainable choices in my daily life. Looking ahead, I’m most interested in learning more about different animals and space. Those topics just fascinate me! I love learning new facts and discovering things that I never knew before. It makes me feel like I’m expanding my understanding of the world.I don’t have any definite plans for my future career, but I know that I want to continue learning and exploring new things. Maybe I won’t take science next year, but if I do, I’m excited to see what other amazing discoveries I can make!
2025 English Reflection!
In English class, I try to have a good attitude and focus on my work. I’m working on giving my best effort in class, all the time. We did some cool activities this year, like spelling bees and making poems from books. It was fun to learn in new ways. I finished all my assignments and tried to make my writing better and clearer. I liked getting to know my classmates and doing fun things together. I also liked that class was sometimes quiet and sometimes loud, but always interesting. Next year, I want to get better at speaking, reading, and writing English. It’s my second language, so I want to be able to talk to my teachers and friends more easily. I also want to listen better and stay focused in class. I learned that even when I have a bad day, I can still try my best and not let it bother others.

To myself
Dear Future Me,
I hope you are doing well and still trying your best. Remember how far you’ve come — moving countries, learning new things, and being brave in every class.
Don’t forget: You are strong, smart, and kind.
Keep believing in yourself, even when things feel hard. PE, writing, maths — you’re getting better all the time.
Keep smiling, helping others, and never stop chasing your dreams.
With love,
Me
Factorial
Factorial is a type of thing that the number times the backwards Example 4! that is four factorial so in that problem we need to count backwards as our times table Something like this 4x3x2x1x That is 24 For me factorial is a short way to do like 4x3x2x1 At first I thought it will be a little bit hard but when I started doing the problem I found very easy.

The aim of the game is to get the highest number I learnt that by putting the highest number in and thousands And putting the lowest number in one and tens that’s how we get the Biggest number.I play the same game with my friend And She did the same thing putting the lowest number in once and tens and using the bigger number in 100 and thousands that’s how she win both times by me.And I was doing opposite of the process that’s how I learned how to play this game And what is the cause.

Eels Facts
Eels facts
Eels have bones in their ears called otolith – these bones have annual rings on them just like trees. The eels is endemic – only found here in New Zealand.Have lived in New Zealand for 80 million years. The oldest known longfin eel was a female and was 106 years old. Eels like stable river banks to sleep under and hide and natural rocks, stones and forest debris to crawl up.They have really bad eye sight, but an amazing sense of smell. They come out at night to feed and spend daytime under rocks, banks and logs. They like nice clean water with lots of insects, koura, snails and other food. They like shade from native trees making the water cool and full of oxygen.
